Introduction to photoshop

 

I chose this colour pallet because I like the warm colours autumn have and i believe it makes a good colour combination. The best colours are the light pink and dark pink, i think this because it blends well and matches with the warm vibe.

denotation and connotation -analysing adverts/posters

 Water aid poster analysis  This advert communicates to the audience that people are in need of water. Based off the logo/writing on the top saying 'water aid' .It suggests that the charity is for giving people clean water. The boy in the image shows he is struggling as his clothes seem scruffy and has an upset facial expression. They used a child in the image because it shows the audience that children are struggling and makes us readers feel bad about the fact they are struggling. Mise-en-scene: Stranger Things analysis

  Costume At the start of the film there was a scientist running through the halls. I know this as the guy running had a lab coat, name tag and a normal suit and tie on making him look like he works within the science area. Later on in the clip there were a couple of kids who wore clothes that seemed like it was a cold atmosphere. I think this because there are lots of layering on the clothes and it was dark making it seem colder. Lighting The lighting is dark and gloomy throughout the whole clip. One of the lights shown are flickering throughout the halls giving the effect that it is a dramatic scene as if something might happen. The low, shadowy lighting creates a high contrast look that builds suspense.  Setting An isolated underground laboratory. Long corridors and heavy doors say it might be a secretive area with government experiment. This creates a sense of danger and private place. Whereas outside it seems bright and more comfortable as it is outdoors.
